Fresno Humane Solution, Inc. is a non-profit organization with a very strong mission:

To improve and promote the welfare of Fresno’s animals through community education, outreach, spay & neuter, sheltering, rescue, and animal control.

Currently, Fresno County and the City of Fresno contribute $3.2 million toward the care and control of stray and unwanted animals in our community. Approximately 50,000 animals from Fresno County and the City of Fresno require sheltering and care through Animal Control each year. This equates to approximately $64 per animal, and it has recently been brought to light that the care of the community’s animals has fallen well below the minimum standard of care. In comparison, the next lowest cost per animal in the state fell upon Kern County at $159 per animal.

Fresno Humane Solution, Inc. is in strong support of Measure H (Humane) to fulfill the mission of the organization. The purpose of Measure H is to build and maintain a new animal shelter, and to provide for community education and low and no-cost spay & neuter.

Derrel’s Mini Storage, Inc. has generously donated 12 acres near Grantland and 99 in Northwest Fresno with 500 feet of freeway exposure for a new animal shelter if the community pulls together and supports and passes Measure H.
